INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE

Through academic rigor, character development, and a structured learning environment, Soleil Academy Charter School ensures that every transitional kindergarten through 5th grade scholar has the foundation necessary for college success and a future bright with opportunity.
THE POSITION
Instructional Aides will support student achievement at Soleil Academy.
Provide Quality Instruction to all Scholars
Develop and maintain a positive, achievement-oriented, supportive and collaborative culture of high expectations that motivates and inspires scholars to learn.
Support all core subjects daily
Effectively execute assigned curriculum to reach every scholar, regardless of prior academic background, disability or English language fluency.
Establish regular monitoring routines to check for scholar understanding throughout the lesson.
Identify students who are academically at risk and initiate effective intervention strategies
Provide supervision as assigned to maintain student safety
Welcome and incorporate feedback from the coaching, guidance and feedback provided by school leaders, peer coaches and content support managers.
Assist in carrying out lesson plans in the event of a teacher’s absence
Assist with direct academic, functional and/or specifically designed instructional or physical activities
Under the direction of the classroom teacher, provide academic supports to improve children's achievement of individual academic and behavioral goals in support of children's IEP goals
