Inside Sales/Customer Service

Overview:

AK Industries, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales, Customer Service and Order Entry Specialist. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients and supporting the sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and representing Hydro-Action at various conferences and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service Excellence:

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy.

- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.

- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and build lasting relationships with clients.

2. Order Processing and Management:

- Accurately process customer orders, quotes, and returns using company software.

- Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.

3. Conference and Trade Show Participation:

- Travel to and participate in industry conferences and trade shows.

- Set up and manage booth displays, distribute marketing materials, and engage with attendees.

- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform company strategies.

4. Team Collaboration and Support:

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and market trends.

- Assist in developing and updating customer service policies and procedures.

- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in customer service and/or order entry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to travel domestically for conferences and trade shows.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with order management software.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
