Inside Sales Representative

Taiga Building Products — We have a FULL-TIME, PERMANENT opportunity in our Sanger branch for a Inside Sales Representative. As a key member of the Sales team, the Inside Sales Representative will report to Branch Manager. We are looking for a competitive, entrepreneurial, assertive and professional team player to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being extremely competitive, a visionary in their select market and area of expertise.
• Maintain and develop Taiga’s current client base and generate new business within assigned service areas including but not limited to North San Joaquin, South San Joaquin, and Central Coast.
• Identify key areas of opportunity by reviewing customers, competitors, and trends.
• Collaborate with internal business units including other branches, procurement, logistics, and operations.
• Customer service with product information and after-sales service.
• Responsible for monitoring sales and profitability, maximizing turns and earns.
• Proven track record of targeting and growing accounts.
• Develop pricing models and strategies for the region.
• Attend periodic meetings and trade shows as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred – 3-5 years lumber trading and/or buying experience.
• Proven record delivering superior customer service.
• Self-motivated, high energy, persistent, and a sense of urgency.
• Excellent problem-solving skills – creativity is key.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Able to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Inventory – Ability to manage inventory turnover and aged inventory.
• Full Cycle Accountability – Responsible for the whole cycle of sales including claims and inventory management.
• Considerable experience making profit-based decisions based on the weight of all factors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional in appearance

Benefits

• Annual Salary – $70,000-$85,000.

Regular Shift Timing: Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate: Sanger Branch: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
