Inside Sales Representative

Expectations of the role:_
- Efficiently take customer orders, assess their needs, enter and or update customer information into our company programs.
- Responsible for all aspects of customer inquiries and requests by phone or email.
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing, order entry, product sourcing and product availability.
- Support outside sales reps with quotes, pricing, account maintenance and general research.
- Communicates with purchasing and the warehouse for product availability, delivery, or shipping details, and follows up with the customer to relay information.
Skills and Experience we like to see:
- High School Diploma and two years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in an Inside Sales or Sales Support Role, preferably in the Industrial Metalworking, Industrial MRO Safety, or Industrial Marine fields.
- Strong computer skills and experience required with MS Office, knowledge of P21, SAP and CRM a plus.
- Industrial background including knowledge of Metalworking, MRO, Industrial Safety, Mill and Marine or OCTG supply products.
- Excellent communications skills are a must, along with attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Exhibits positive professional attitude when dealing with both internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Displays excellent customer service skills and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
