Summary
Inside sales position representing wire and cable products in targeted Industrial markets and for selected key accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inbound and outbound sales calls, quotations (meeting customer technical requirements) and calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services
- Customer Contract and Project Administration. Managing contracts and projects details, status reports, manufacturing scheduling, logistics, customer questionnaires, forms and agreements and all other contract activities
- Estimates and secure dates of delivery to customer, based on production schedule knowledge of plant operations.
- Builds and maintains customer’s relationships.
- Manage the sales process activity from prospecting through inquiry, negotiation, order, order management, and post order service.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers & distributors across all functions and levels of the organization.
- Communicate and coordinate between 2 manufacturing facilities (5 plants) in Monterrey, Mexico (7 different areas at the manufacturing facilities: IT, engineering, costing, programming, production, QA &QC, shipping & delivering).
- Deliver on all execution responsibilities including sales forecasting, expense management, inventory planning, and general sales reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of inside sales customer management experience
- Must be able to travel within the United States and Mexico.
- Must have intermediate skills in data entry
- Must have intermediate skills working in Excel
Preferred Requirements
- Industrial market and project order management experience
- Bi-lingual with Spanish as a second language.
- BA/BS degree.
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business related trips; ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods
of time; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Compensation
Bonus eligible at a target of 20% based on performance-paid quarterly
