JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be part of a regional team and a key contact between both our customers and the external sales team within your region. Using your product and systems knowledge, you will help drive business for your assigned region!
Tasks will include:
- Together with regional leadership and marketing, identify opportunities within our customer and lead database as well as our order history and create potentials lists.
- Maintain regular and strong communication with your team, support them and participate in any needed activities to help drive business and achieve sales targets within your region.
- In coordination with your external team. develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing and following quotations (using our ERP system).
- Maintain a high level of company and product knowledge which will help you understand your customer needs and requirements.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by timely and regularly communicating with your customers on issues such as lead times, transport, quality issues, etc.
- Use the CRM system to log relevant information, understanding how crucial data accuracy is in documenting the customer journey.
- Accomplish organization’s goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests when needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A degree is preferred, but not a must. Enthusiasm however is an absolute must! As we are truly passionate about our product, we will need you to be as well.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant “inside or phone” sales experience however is required, preferably selling high-end products (no volume tele-sales)
- Self-driven and positive attitude is key! Your main goal is to serve your customers and therefore you have an acute sense of urgency in following up on any customer requests request and opportunities.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- You are a people person and have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Success in this role will entail high attention to detail and making sure that customers and sales teams feel fully supported.
