SALES ASSOCIATE
JOB SUMMARY
Provide high quality customer service to new and existing clients, ascertaining and defining their needs through product inquiries and responses, as well as product recommendations and referrals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Building and maintaining successful customer relationships.
· Qualifying potential customers
· Prepare customer price quotations on dietary supplements
· Identify and articulate market and customer requirements.
· Helping the Purchasing Department source raw material and packaging component suppliers.
· Make company presentations to customer.
· Lead facility tours for company visitors.
· Communicate effectively internally and externally to customers and accounts associate.
· Solicit new business from customers at every good opportunity.
· Develop marketing and promotional literature and materials for company.
· Visit customers on an as needed visit (traveling may be required).
· Exhibit and generate leads at industry tradeshows.
· Develop advertising and media plans.
· Prepare customer price quotations on dietary supplements.
· Preparing Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (MNDA’s)
· Communicate with customer on a daily basis to provide optimal service.
· Relay customer request to the proper departments
· Report customer complaints to President / QA Manager / QC Manager.
· Organize and maintain customer files.
· Generating new leads
· Checking pricing of customer reorders
· Verifying tablet punches and capsules sizes
· Staying updated on current regulations and rules relating to the industry and our space.
· Coming up with solutions to manufacturing problems.
· Preparing Order Confirmations
· Assisting during customer audits
· Work alongside Compliance Department to prepare and develop Work Orders
· Batch Sizes paperwork
· Premasters
· R&D Pilots
· Assisting with sampling pilots & R&D pilots
· Preparing Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (MNDA’s)
· Working along side QA/QC/Compliance/Technical Dept to provide clients with supporting supplement documentation and certifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· College Degree in Business or related area
· At least 1 years Sales Experience
· Computer proficiency knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, QuickBooks
