Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Inside Machinists for projects located in and around the Newport News, VA area . This is an opportunity with all shifts available and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Operate Manual and/or NC Machines Such as: Lathes, Mills, Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers, EDMs, Etc.
Drilling/Tapping Processes
Horizontal Boring Mills
Vertical Turning Centers
Requirements
Must be able to Pass a Background Check and Drug Screening
Minimum of 2+ Years Experience as a Inside-Shop Machinist
Familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes Manual Data Input Tooling Offsets Conversation Controllers
Must be Open to Working all Shifts
Must hold US Citizenship to Meet Necessary Badging Requirements
Experience with Controllers Such as: Fanuc Siemens Acramatic Cincinnati-Milacron
Familiar with the use of Precision Measuring Instruments: Outside/Inside Micrometers Depth Mics Verniers
Familiar with Carbide Machining Processes
Ability to Comprehend Complex Mechanical Drawings and Blueprints
