1 to 3 years’ experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines
General purpose of the position
The general purpose of the CNC Machinist is to setup machines and produce quality parts using the CNC mills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly setup and run 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines.
- Make complete and accurate set ups without assistance.
- Verify quality through in-process inspection.
- Ability and willingness to run multiple machines.
- Read programs and make speeds and feeds program changes.
- Trouble shoot jobs.
- Check part dimensions (less CMM).
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prefer at least 1 recent year in aerospace, setting up and running multi-axis CNC machines desired.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
- Able to read blue prints and understand GD&T.
- Understand and be able to interpret customer specifications.
- Familiar with G and M programming codes.
- Proficient using HAAS and Fanuc Control. Mazatrol turning a plus but not required.
- Must be able to perform basic math.
- Desire for continual improvement.
- Personal Characteristics – Must be willing and able to work as a team player and follow instruction also be willing to work hard to help company grow.

Hours: M - F, 3:00 pm - 1:00 am, occasional Saturdays (depending upon workload)
