Job description
In this role you will work with the Senior Designers in the Innovation Team to create compelling and innovative solutions to a wide variety of design initiatives including merchandizing, fixture, product and furniture designs. Facilitate design studies by developing options for consideration. Work with internal design and technical team members, cross-functional experts and outside vendors to optimize designs for function, aesthetics, and manufacturability. Develop necessary technical knowledge in areas outside your realm of expertise to understand other teams’ design constraints and craft creative solutions to technical problems. Produce presentation computer models, drawings and visualizations of initiatives in development for internal reviews: Design Review, Creative Review and Executive Review. Produce 3D visualizations, technical drawings and computer models to support detailed product or system development. Coordinate with consultants and vendors who produce mockups and prototypes, procure samples, and complete shop drawings. Produce assets used to integrate the final innovation design into Retail Standards documentation. Organize and maintain records of design studies, presentations, mockups, reviews, vendor visits, prototypes and other creative deliverables to ensure documentation of the lifecycle of each initiative.
