Drafter Designer

The Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AUTODESK REVIT DRAFTING software. This position requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret and create mechanical and engineering designs. The Drafter will be expected to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with other departments to ensure that the designs meet the desired specifications.

Drafter Duties and Responsibilities

• Create Autodesk Revit drawings, sketches, and diagrams from verbal and written instructions
• Consult with engineers and other technical personnel to interpret design specifications
• Analyze drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards and specifications
• Prepare and maintain technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics
• Maintain a database of drawings and documents

Drafter Requirements and Qualifications

• KNOW HOW TO COMPLETE THE PLANS. KNOWLEDGE IN CALIFORNINA BUILDING CODES FOR THE PLANS
• Experience with 3D modeling and animation software preferred
• Knowledge of AutoDesk Revit drafting standards and conventions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
