We are looking for passionate, talented people who want to join us in our mission to inspire and educate men to be happier and healthier!

About the Role:

They will lead product initiatives through development and launch, assist in building strategic plans to address key areas of opportunity and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to execute on strategic initiatives. Their day-to-day responsibilities will include market research, pricing & margin analysis, product performance assessments, sales data analysis, project management, as well as other ad hoc product strategy initiatives to maximize customer lifetime value. They will also be responsible for evaluating all product launches and conducting thorough analyses to provide recommendations for future launches.

Should we be expanding into this category? What does the ideal product assortment for that category look like? Was this a successful launch? What meaningful takeaways can we gather from the launch and use to maximize the success of future launches? Are our products fit for the right channels and keeping up with current trends? Is the category set up for long-term success or should we be innovating within the space? These are some of the questions that the Innovation Strategy Sr. Associate will work on answering on a regular basis, and the answers to these questions will fundamentally steer the growth of the business.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical and have an understanding of the DTC, Retail, and/or personal care landscapes. The role requires a critical-thinking individual with a passion for products, problem solving, and strong business acumen. They will be highly creative, analytical, and ROI-driven in identifying potentially attractive opportunities. A great Innovation Strategy Sr. Associate will be an exceptional teammate, leveraging the expertise of our Product Development, Consumer Insights, Data & Analytics, Marketing and Operations to ensure we're making the best product decisions for the business. Finally, a successful Innovation Strategy Sr. Associate will understand how to balance data with intuition and will be energized by helping guide important decisions.

This role will report to the Innovation Strategy Manager.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based at Squatch HQ in Marina del Rey, CA. We are currently operating in a hybrid office capacity and expect employees to be in the Los Angeles area and in-office for a minimum of three days a week.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $75,000 to $100,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Present findings and articulate clear recommendations to the leadership team
  • Track and summarize trends in the personal care space and share learnings with cross-functional stakeholders

  • As part of the development of new products, own pricing and product margin, work cross-functionally to establish and understand revenue goals, demand planning and merchandising, and manage the product and artwork design
  • Closely support retail merchandising initiatives and decisions in coordination with the Retail and Commercialization teams
