Job Summary:
Brisk Health, a leading healthcare company, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Infusion Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality infusion services to our patients and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapies to patients according to established protocols
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects during infusion therapy
- Educate patients and caregivers about infusion therapy and self-care at home
- Ensure proper documentation and charting of patient care
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
- Current nursing license in the state of Nevada
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Infusion Nurse
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of infusion therapy, including IVIG, chemotherapy, and biologic medications
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation requirements
