Hourly pay rate: yes, $32/hr to start + tier wage structure in place, possibly more with more experience
Overtime Pay : yes, time and a half

Travel: 5% to corporate for training possibly

Recruiter Notes: 1) Vision System software (Cognex and Keyence) recently installed at the facility in early 2023. 2) there are 7 production lines and multiple cells within the production facility. 3) this facility / plant only assembles front and rear bumper systems or front facias. There is no manufacturing here. 4) opportunity for growth within plant and company. 5) MES experience would be a bonus (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
Job duties:
- Ability to resolve support calls within the defined SLA, (Service Level Agreements).
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
- Conducts floor level training on new equipment.
- Flexible Shift – Based on Department Manager’s Needs. Must be able to support weekend production.
- Complete and communicate end of shift notes including issues seen on the floor and project completion updates.
- Basic network knowledge, changing VLANs, troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex technical issues.
- Administer and maintain server infrastructure, including virtualization platforms.
- Collaborate with vendors and external service providers to resolve technical issues.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Train end-users on the proper use of the MES system and provide ongoing support Install, configure, and maintain the MES software and hardware components.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MES software, hardware, and integration with other systems.
· Coordinate engineering changes and ensure their proper implementation in the MES system.
· Setup and maintain part numbers in the MES system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
· Process Improvement helps identify areas of improvement in manufacturing processes, optimizing workflows, and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
· MES Compliance monitoring and troubleshooting the MES system, performing regular updates and patches, and ensuring system availability and reliability
Qualifications:
· Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an IT Technician level 2 or in a similar role.
· Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
· Experience with server administration, virtualization, and network device configuration.
· Familiarity with enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery solutions.
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Ability to mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 IT Technicians.
· Strong knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries, including complex joins and subqueries.
· Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
· Experience in the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of automotive-specific software applications and systems.
· Knowledge of plant Manufacturing Execution Systems.

Pay: $27.53 - $32.21 per hour
