Job Description
The position is responsible for performing a full range of responsibilities related to the daily operational needs of the Grand Region Materials and Testing Lab. This position inspects, samples, and tests a wide variety of construction materials incorporated into MDOT Construction and Maintenance projects; performs Independent Assurance Testing (IAT) on MDOT, Contractor, and Consultant personnel; and ensures quality mandates are followed by suppliers, producers, and contractors.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (8) level through the maximum rate at the experienced (E10) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.
