The position is in the Application and Platform Service Line, Office of the Chief Information Officer, in the Mission Program Enabling Office. Supporting the NASA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) & Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program, the position will support the design, maintenance, and evaluation of Language Modeling, Semantic Search capabilities, Data Engineering, and ensuring the quality of the tooling, conducting data validation, and resolving data quality issues.Qualifications: Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.
- Planning or leading an agile development project or team in the utilization of software development lifecycle for data, and software development;
- Integrating different data sources for operational applications such as data collection/acquisition, ingest, cleansing/wrangling, and transformation;
- Developing data analysis methodologies to enable and optimize data analysis and statistical assessments.
AND
IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
