Job Description
The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. They must be able to assess situations and resolve issues in a timely manner. The position is also responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and security of the business technology systems. The IT Manager serves as a bridge between the IT department and other departments. The IT manager should have experience in graphic and Pre Media systems and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the deployment, maintenance, monitoring, security, patching, upgrading, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, infrastructure, hardware, software, and peripherals, including hands-on assistance.
- Create and oversee IT projects and function as a project manager.
- Coordinate with management to implement IT policies, procedures, strategies, and controls.
- Select and oversee external resources to implement and perform cyber security protocols.
- Manage the company’s technology applications and improve operational efficiencies through the use of technology.
- Build strong relationships with management, operations, vendors, suppliers.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop systems and procedures to improve internal reporting, tracking, and business operations automation.
- Perform and be accountable for IT annual and project-specific budget planning.
- Review and evaluate IT vendor contracts and resolve issues and discrepancies.

Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements:
- 5 years of experience leading IT teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
- Demonstrated experience supporting business environments running Windows 10/11, Azure, Office 365 and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Netapp, VMware, CommVault, Esko Automation Engine, Active Directory, Mac OS, Unix , Windows and Xinet is a plus.
- Ability to work with 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.
- Acts with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient first-hand knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and Telephony.
- Physically capable of safely moving around work site environments that could include uneven surfaces, stairs, ladders, under furniture, overhead, and lifting up to 50lbs.
