The IT Department is currently looking for an Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a Monday-Friday position, working between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Starting wage: $60,000-$80,000 annually
What you will do: As a Systems Administrator you will be responsible for protecting and maintaining our critical Information Technology assets, implementing new software and hardware, supporting users, and providing training. You will have the opportunity to tackle challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and demonstrate ownership and responsibility. You will greatly enhances the ability of the Ranch's IT department to maintain existing software and infrastructure, analyze needs and provide better technology solutions.
Purpose
You bring enthusiasm and passion when you apply the use of technology-based solutions to improve strategic and day-to-day operations across the Ranch.
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
- Provide support and expertise to maintain our technology landscape. This includes, but is not limited to, local and cloud applications, laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, phones, surveillance systems, access control systems, and video conferencing systems
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
Caring
You support the Ranch employees who help the kids no one else can.
- Partner with internal and external resources to understand needs, research options, recommend and implement solutions, communicate project status, activities, and achievements
- Provide support and expertise to maintain our technology landscape. This includes, but is not limited to, local and cloud applications, laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, phones, surveillance systems, access control systems, and video conferencing systems
- Support the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
Learning
You have a strong desire to both increase knowledge of technology and share that knowledge with others, and the skills to do so.
- Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing
- Advanced experience with installation and administration of phone, video security, and access control systems
- Knowledge of scripting and programming languages
- Professional technology certifications
Minimum qualifications/education:
- Minimum of 5 years of increasingly progressive Information Technology related education and/or experience
- Demonstrated experience and accomplishment with challenging IT responsibilities
- Passionate about technology, familiar with current technology and trends
- Strong desire to both increase knowledge of technology and share that knowledge with others
- Team player, respectful of diversity
- Great people skills, able to successfully work with exacting customers, professional service providers, and outside vendors and consultants
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office365 including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and Azure, network security, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools and virtualization
- Experience with SaaS solutions and integrating those with existing technologies through API's
- Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing enterprise-wide technology systems
