Form of workThe Information TechnologySupport Specialist is responsible for providing client desktop and server system support.
Provide prompt resolution of application, hardware and system issues.
Able to provide support via phone, email or face-to-face and remote desktop, while troubleshooting, repairing, installing, patching, testing, etc.
Must be able to work independently and problem solve with little or no supervision, as well as ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Occasional work outside normal business hours.
Must be able to travel to and from Ashland, Medford and Grants Pass.
- Associates Degree in Information Systems or related field
- Five years of organizational IT work experience
- Possess strong trouble-shooting abilities related to informational technology related maters
- Experience or education in the following technologies:
- Microsoft Office Suites: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Workstations/Servers, network appliances and other system components
- Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012-16-19, Windows 7,10)
- Mobile Devices (smartphones, Active Synch etc.)
- Active Directory Domain Services (AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Experience supporting multi-function devices, fax, and workgroup printers
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands and prioritize work to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Effective written, verbal and listening communication skills
- Able to periodically lift up to 50 pounds up and down stairs
- Clean DMV record. Company vehicles will be driven daily
- Must be able to clear a background check conducted through DHS. Must be able to clear a screening through the Medicaid Fraud Database and the OIG Database.
- Basic math skills.
