Virtual Weight Management Dietitian

About the company: Eat Pray Lift Nutrition Coaching is a small and quickly growing private practice in the north Dallas area. We provide clients with exceptional Weight Management coaching in a manner that is highly specific to each client’s goals and needs. Our passion is teaching clients how to eat in a balanced, sustainable way and real life solutions to their unique obstacles.

About this position: You will conduct both 1:1 and group virtual nutrition coaching sessions in a manner that is personable and fun while being grounded in scientific principles. Our nutrition coaching is primarily centered on a macronutrient balanced approach to sustainable & holistically healthy Weight Management. Many of our clients are also interested in learning about sports nutrition, mindful eating & lifestyle management of gut health and hormone balance throughout various stages of life.

Key job duties:

• Demonstrate a high level of expertise in nutrition, motivational interviewing & behavior change counseling
• Present scientific information in a manner that is understandable by the general public
• Enthusiastically, confidently & professionally lead private and group counseling sessions
• Design and assist clients with the implementation of personalized nutrition plans based on the review of their health assessments
• Complete weekly check ins with clients with a high level of efficiency and attention to detail
• Review client food journals & provide personalized coaching, feedback and encouragement based on each client’s journal and individual needs
• Set up personalized meal plans using our preferred program & assist clients promptly on the usage of our meal planning and food logging program
• Ensure each client has a VIP, white glove level of service and attention throughout coaching timeframe
• Efficiently reply to client messages in a compassionate and motivating manner
• Confidently provide recommendations for quality supplements and healthy foods and beverages to support clients in their health journey
• Demonstrate a technical savviness with EHRs, Zoom and a variety of software programs
• Develop and maintain nutrition education resources for clients
• Stay up to date with nutrition related research
• Participate in and maintain regular communication with executive team
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Licensed with the state of Texas as a Dietitian
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field; Master’s degree in food and nutrition preferred
• 2 years experience as a Registered Dietitian, preferably in an outpatient setting
• Thorough knowledge of macronutrient tracking and its role in Weight Management
• Willingness to practice what we preach, viewing yourself as a leader & example to clients
• Ability to present as outgoing, caring and personable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in counseling those with a history of emotional eating
• Experience in sports nutrition
• Experience with diabetes management
• Board certified specialist or advanced certifications in specialized field of nutrition
• Reside in Texas, ideally the DFW area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
