Responsibilities: - Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to clients - Conduct patient assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans - Monitor and evaluate clients' progress towards their nutrition goals - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide comprehensive treatment plans - Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and meal preparation techniques - Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in nutrition and health coaching - Provide guidance on special diets, such as gluten-free, vegetarian, or low-sodium diets - Assist with menu planning and nutritional analysis for institutions or food service establishments Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field - Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) preferred - Experience in health coaching and providing nutrition counseling - Strong knowledge of human physiology and the impact of nutrition on overall health - Familiarity with tube feeding and the ability to provide guidance on enteral nutrition support - Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations to assess nutritional status - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate clients towards behavior change Please note that this is a general job description for a Nutritionist position.
