Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, email, chat and in person.
Documents software, hardware, and network processes.
Approach solutions with urgency and Security Mindset.
Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
Hands on implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IT Systems, as well as provide direct support to end users.
Communicates with external vendors related to software and hardware issues and problem solving.
Performs PC hardware and software installations, imaging, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Schedules and Completes patching and upgrades during downtime for minimal production interference.
Maintains and improves disaster recovery process; establish/maintain test schedule.
Assists with camera/security system.
Maintains IT support for the facility, including occasional weekends for production and equipment upgrades.
Essential Duties, Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Proven experience as a Help Desk technician or other customer support role
Working knowledge of office automation products, databases, phone and security systems
Experience and extensive working knowledge in supporting Server/PC environments running Windows Server 2012 or higher & Windows 10 or higher, MS O365 Pro, TCP/IP, SNMP, VPN, internet using LAN and WAN using industrial switches and routers.
Experience with server virtualization (Hyper-V)
Good understanding of manufacturing environments and administering ERP/MRP Software.
Experience with Microsoft 365
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Excellent communication skills & customer-oriented
Flexibility to work on-call and weekends as required.
Degree in Computer Science or Technology or relevant field; equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Multiple technical certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Must be able to walk, talk, listen and speak clearly.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
