Job Description and Duties
Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Manager I, the incumbent serves as a technical customer support specialist and performs analytical tasks to support and maintain the computers, networking, videoconference, mobile and telecommunications equipment connected to the California Department of Insurance (CDI) computer network in the Sacramento Regional offices. The incumbent participates in resolving personal computer related software and hardware problems and is required to research, document and present solutions to personal computer related issues. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with department employees are required. The work involves sitting, standing, bending and walking. The incumbent will be required to move and install equipment that weighs up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in a high rise building between floors 11-17.
- Ability to transport documents and/or equipment up to 15-25 lbs., i.e. laptop computer, files, reference manuals, solicitation documents, etc.
- Eligible for telework in accordance with CDIs Telework policy.
