The FM Service Desk Associate provides direct support to clinic staff and Facility Management staff to resolve facility-related issues.  This position receives work requests through work management software (WMS) and by phone, determines priority, and assigns to appropriate party.  This position also directly manages some requests that are assigned directly to a vendor, tracking completion and communicating with requester.

This position is full time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 19500 Interstate Highway 10 West Building 1 San Antonio, TX. 

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receives requests through WMS or by phone, prioritizes request, and assigns work per standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinates work with trade vendors and communicates with requester on progress and completion.
  • Contacts property managers/landlords or utilizes property manager/landlord online portals to report issues related to lease.
  • Enters work notes into WMS and helps to maintain location and contact information in WMS.
  • Creates Photo ID’s and processes electronic access requests as assigned.
  • Provides information and support to Facilities Maintenance Technicians/ FM Coordinators and other teams as needed in the department.
  • Monitors assigned market workload and ensures quality and completion of tasks as per ServiceNow SLA’s.
  • Escalate requests through appropriate channels as needed.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • 1+  years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, dispatch experience, scheduling and/or customer service experience
  • Experience with Computers including windows based programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • Ability to work full time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+  years of related experience in a medical setting preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize, and organize various work orders.
  • Ability and willingness to work irregular work hours on occasion.
  • Excellent customer service skills
