Future Technologies is seeking a Information Security Specialist to join our winning team. Clearance: Active Secret clearance
ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide input to the RMF process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life-cycle support plans, CONOPS, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials).
- Contribute to design countermeasures and mitigations against potential exploitation of programming language weaknesses and vulnerabilities in system and elements.
- Research, interpret, recommend, and establish security technologies to assist with the development and deployment of secure systems
- Perform risk analysis (i.e., threat vulnerability, and probability of occurrence) whenever an application or system undergoes a major change.
- Support penetration testing for new and updated applications.
- Assist with ensuring a robust hardware assurance process by analyzing defensive measures (i.e. encryption, access control, identity management, third party)
- Provide input into the development of enterprise system CS requirements based on mandated requirements.
- Support the management of hardware/software operational infrastructure associated with Red and Blue Team types of "attack platforms".
Required Education and Experience :
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in performing Risk Management Framework activities.
- Demonstrated experience with performing STIG assessments to include using SCAP benchmarks.
- Demonstrated experience performing vulnerability assessments with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) tool.
- Demonstrated experience using eMASS.
- Experience in developing Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) entries.
- Experience in completing Risk Management Framework Step 5 authorizations in the Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating risk reduction recommendations to stakeholders.
- US Citizen
Clearance:
- Active Secret Clearance
Certifications
Must have one or more of the following certifications
- CCNA Security
- CySA+ ** GICSP
- GSEC
- Security+ CE
- SSCP
Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years' experience in performing Risk Management Framework activities.
- TS/SCI Eligible (preferred)
- BS in Computer Science/Information Systems related field (preferred)
