JOB SUMMARY
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from managing Microsoft Azure services to providing both on-site and remote assistance for a variety of end-user devices and peripherals.
We are looking for an individual with strong skills in Microsoft Azure administration, device and user management, helpdesk support, on-site and remote assistance, troubleshooting end-user devices, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Knowledge of point-of-sale systems is a significant advantage, and candidates must be willing to travel between sites around the Bay Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Microsoft Azure related task: Administer Microsoft Azure services, including device and user enrollment and management, policy configuration.
- Helpdesk Support: Offer prompt and effective helpdesk support to address IT issues for end-users, resolving hardware and software problems.
- Onsite Support: Provide on-site assistance and technical support to end-users, ensuring their IT needs are met efficiently.
- Remote Support: Offer remote assistance to end-users, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions when on-site support is not feasible.
- Device Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems with end-user devices, software, and peripherals, including laptops, conference equipment, VoIP systems, and more.
- Basic Networking Skills: Handle basic networking tasks, including network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Customer Service: Deliver superior customer service, maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor when interacting with end-users.
- Knowledge of Point of Sales (POS): Possess knowledge of point-of-sale systems and provide support and troubleshooting for POS equipment as needed.
- Travel Between Sites: Be willing to travel between various locations around the Bay Area to provide both on-site and remote support.
- Minimum of 5 years IT support experience in an Enterprise environment.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Azure administration, device management, and policy configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of end-user device issues.
- Competent in basic networking skills and common network-related tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-centric approach to IT support.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems is a significant advantage.
- A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel between sites around the Bay Area.
- Any IT related Certification is a plus.
