We are a business-to-business support service for independent mental healthcare businesses, which helps providers service a growing client base. We provide administrative and organizational services to simplify the processes of lead-generation, marketing, billing, and collecting payments from patients and insurers. Our teams support over 1,200 independent mental health providers, and over 20,000 clients per week across 11 physical locations and Telehealth.

About the Role
The Information Security Specialist, internally referred to as "Network and Security Administrator" will play a pivotal role in managing, maintaining, and securing our organization's network infrastructure. This multifaceted position combines traditional network administration tasks with advanced security expertise to protect our data and systems against potential threats. The role involves collaborating with IT staff and employees to address network and system requirements, overseeing hardware and software installations, and creating security policies and training materials. This individual will be responsible for various specific action items related to network and security, ensuring network uptime, incident response, and project success. This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced company with ample opportunity to learn, grow, and make impactful contributions to our effort of provider quality mental healthcare to our communities!
Work Environment
The position is based in-person at the Headquarters location and requires travel to all Mindful Support Services office locations, including occasional out-of-state business trips. The position also requires off-site travel as needed to support with job requirements such as projects, equipment/supply needs, and repairs.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and address application security breaches and active threats.
• Oversee Exchange Security and Azure logging and alerting.
• Review and deploy updates to hardware via management software; specifically Addigy and Apple devices in our existing environment.
• Perform application update reviews and audits, and report results to the IT Manager and VP of Operations with recommendations of any next steps to improve security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deployment of new software and solutions.
• Design and manage the deployment of new location networks.
• Manage network circuits and VLAN configuration
• Conduct Meraki audits, configure alerts, and escalate any larger issues/threats to the IT Manager.
• Manage Azure server security and networking by running regular audits andconfiguring alerts as well as coordinating implementation of security enhancements with 3rd party support vendors.
• Collaborate with the Compliance Officer to implement and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Utilize logging and analytics to create Conditional Access and manage access control measures.
• Conduct regular interval security policy updates and analysis, and report out the current state, risk factors, and recommendations for improvement & resolution
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Identify and address weaknesses in the security posture of various products, enhancing necessary controls.
• Build foundational application security capabilities.
• Develop automated tools and scripts for testing processes.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
• Support the IT Manager in resource planning for the annual budget and major projects
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting for issue resolution.
• Ensure changes made to the network infrastructure adhere to configuration and change management policies.
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Core Competencies
• At least 4 years in the IT industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in network administration and security roles.
• Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Strong knowledge of security concepts, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
• Experience with security tools and solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in HIPAA compliance.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $85,000- $100,000 per year with opportunity for advancement with tenure and performance.
