We are in search of an experienced Software Engineer to help us build-out a custom software suite that supports our employees and manages our day-to-day business operations. You will be joining a small development team working on this web-based platform that is being built completely in-house. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in a work environment that is creative, supportive and constantly learning new tools and techniques.

Job Responsibilities
Our Software Engineers work closely together within an Agile/Scrum environment to produce quality code using industry best practices. Our developers operate with a high degree of autonomy and are expected to pick up new technologies as the need arises.
In this role, you will:
- Build components for web applications
- Use node.js to build REST APIs
- Write CSS to meet visual specs created by our UX/UI design team
- Write reusable code, with clear and understandable documentation
- Write unit tests and ensure your code is fully tested and testable
- Peer review your code and the code of other team members
- Refactor your code as needs arrive
- Develop and manage features from ideation to deployment.
Technology Expectations
Must-have proficiencies:
- Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals and Object-Oriented Design concepts
- Javascript/Typescript (Angular and Node.js preferred)
- HTML/CSS
- git
- Jasmine or Mocha (or similar testing framework)
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Highly Desired proficiencies:
- React
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Linux/Unix environments
The ideal candidate will have:
- A CS degree or equivalent, with 2+ years’ experience in software development
- Demonstrated knowledge of the above technologies, having built one or more applications with them
- Worked professionally on a team with other software developers
- Coded on both the frontend and backend An understanding of different aspects of testing (unit, integration, regression, performance, etc.)
What we can offer:
- $90,000 - 95,000 salary (DOE)
