Stockton Nursing Center is currently searching for a dedicated RN Infection Preventionist to join our team!

Infection Preventionist Responsibilities:

· Partners with the Medical Director to develop, implement and evaluate annual infection prevention goals and action plan

· Partners with facility leaders, local, state, and national agencies on activities related to infection prevention

· Oversees the operations of the infection prevention, epidemiology, industrial hygiene, and relevant safety programs

· Accountable for surveillance of healthcare acquired and community acquired infections

· Manages goal setting process for system, unit and physician goals related to healthcare acquired infections and conditions

· Lead industrial hygiene program to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, mitigate, and control workplace conditions

· Participates in the national collaboratives and external reporting to CDC NHSN system, and other post-acute-care specific quality organizations

The Infection Preventionist (IP) is responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring, and reporting healthcare-associated infections. The IP collaborates with teams and individuals to create infection prevention strategies, provide feedback, and sustain infection prevention strategies, all while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.

**Daily Pay Available**

Infection Preventionist Requirements:

· Minimum one (1) year experience in Infection Prevention or related role. Experience with Staff Coordination is a plus!

· Valid RN License in good standing.

Pay: $37.00 - $47.00 per hour
