Part-Time Infant & Toddler Teacher!Our growing Early Childhood Learning Center has a job opening in our infant and toddler classroom. The position is part-time shifts Monday-Friday. At Ivy Academy we value the unique spirit of each child and staff member. The teachers are responsible for developing and maintaining parent relationships, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in continuous professional development.
Our school community and classroom environments foster independence, creative thinking, self-directed learning, and joy. The infant teacher will create a high-quality learning environment for children 3 months to 2.9 years and have support from the top talent in our field. Here at Ivy Academy, we value diverse perspectives, respect, trust, and fun; we look forward to working with you!Responsibilities: -Plan or assist with developmentally appropriate activities for infants & Toddlers-Provide individualized attention and care to each child-Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress-Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment-Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure quality care for all children- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessmentsLicense/Certification: EEC Certification (Preferred)Criminal Background CheckSchedule: 8:00AM-1:30PM Monday-FridayStarting Salary is $23.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on education, certification, andexperience.
