Up to $750 Hiring Bonus!

Especially for Children in Eagan seeks a dedicated early childhood professional to join our teaching team. EFC has nine Twin Cities locations which are NAEYC Accredited and Four Star Parent Aware rated. EFC is locally owned and was founded in 1976. Teachers at Especially for Children make lasting connections with children, families and each other. Our educational philosophy is centered on The Creative Curriculum, a play-based learning curriculum that allows teachers and children to explore and pursue their unique interests.

We are offering a sign-on bonus for this full-time teacher position at our Eagan location. A $750 bonus will be offered to full-time candidates who possess a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. A $500 bonus will be offered to all other full-time Teacher or Assistant Teacher qualified candidates. Bonuses will be paid in two installments, after 30 and 60 days of employment. Bonuses do not apply to any other open positions at Especially for Children unless specified in the job posting.

Candidates who are not currently Teacher qualified, but would like to obtain Teacher qualification will potentially be eligible to participate in the CDA (Child Development Associate) program, 100% paid for by Especially for Children.

We seek a qualified Teacher who:

• Relates positively with young children and families
• Is available to work Monday through Friday (shifts will either be 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, or 4 days a week, 10 hours per day with one day off during the week). Shifts will end between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.
• Has previous Early Childhood Education experience in a school, childcare center or licensed daycare
• Has college credits or a certification in Early Childhood Education (CDA) or a related field (preferred)
• Is passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
• Plans and implements lesson plans and a daily classroom schedule
• Works cooperatively with other team members
• Is authorized to work in the United States. Especially for Children does not provide Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance
