Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement early intervention strategies
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Incorporate math and other educational activities into daily lessons
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and academic performance
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development for young children
- Strong classroom management skills to engage and educate preschoolers
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
Education:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
