Industrial Project Manager/Estimator (DIRECT HIRE) $100K Spartanburg
Title: Industrial Services Project Manager/Estimator (DIRECT HIRE)
Office location: Spartanburg, SC 29302
Starting salary: $75-100K based on experience and ability to bring in business quickly.
PLUS the opportunity to receive multiple bonuses based on performance.

Proven experience and the ability to estimate the cost of the jobs properly is a MUST!
We are seeking someone with longevity in prior roles, a great can-do attitude, and a strong work ethic.
A background check including a driving record, drug test, and in-person interview is required, in addition to reference checks from previous employers.
Small but healthy and growing company. 401K available. They do not currently offer healthcare but will reimburse costs with a bonus (to be discussed during the interview process).
Must have their your own mode of transportation to and from work during the 90-day evaluation period. Afterward, the company may provide a company vehicle and company fuel credit card. Must be willing to travel but the majority of your time will be spent here in the Upstate of SC.
For the first few months, you will be required to work in the office in Spartanburg but once you’ve proven yourself with results, you will have the flexibility to work from home, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive bid proposals
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and update cost estimates as needed
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant data for estimating purposes
- Prepare and present project estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Sales Estimating and Project Management Manager: (Manager for Sales, Estimating and
- Project Management)
- Hiring and controlling any persons in that department.
- Estimating projects by ascertaining all information required. Producing sales letters for the same thatwill represent the company with professional direction and any misunderstanding regarding our scope of work.
- Closing the sale using professional techniques and protecting the company margins.
- Providing all records and information required to the Office Manager for the financial system.
- Tracking all sales and projects that maintain a history needed for financial institutions and future
- customers.
- Providing all budges for projected sales growth that can illustrate future sales in no less than
- one (1) month and up to twelve (12) months.
- Taking responsibility for individual project profits for himself or those working in his department.
- Business development is considered an important part of this office which must track and maintain a
- steady flow of new opportunities and reporting for the same.
- This office is responsible for all letters, forms, and information that flow from this office to our
- customers, vendors, and other outside businesses that must represent the company well.
- Sales Estimating and Project Management Managers reporting directly to the General/Operations Manager.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial estimating or related field
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and other design software for reviewing schematics and drawings
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
- Ability to interpret contract documents and understand contractual obligations
- Must have a strong background of working with an industrial construction company that performs millwright, rigging and mechanical work for manufacturing facilities (non-residential).
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with project management & estimating for labor, manhours, equipment and materials required for new projects.
- Must be computer literate and able to work with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook Email,
- Must be physically able to walk a construction site and be on their feet for a full work shift, if/when required.
- Must be willing to travel in/out of state to individual jobsites, when required.
- Must be a team player and willing to follow instructions from our current management team.
Starting salary range is $75K – $85K for first year. Then, annual salary increases are issued based on performance. Opportunity for up to 5% commission for profitable sales exceeding $1.5M per year.
