Janitorial Project Manager - Industrial
The Janitorial Project Manager provides oversight to their direct reports, primarily hourly employees. This person ensures that standards are being met, locations are fully staffed, and continually works to develop their team to ensure customer satisfaction at every level.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, and train employees to assure account is properly staffed according to contract specifications.
- Assign duties and tasks to employees and inspect work for thoroughness and completion.
- Monitor all levels of the production facility daily to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained according to contract specifications.
- Determine work procedures and prepare schedules while ensuring the account stays within the given labor budget.
- Conduct new hire orientation, safety training, job training, etc., to assure hourly employees can perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Prepare and review paperwork such as time sheets, accident reports, new hire paperwork, employee training records, work orders, equipment and supply orders, etc.
- Create an open line of communication by assisting in employee relations problems, and coaching and counseling employees to empower success.
- Attend meetings and represent Diversified Maintenance in a professional manner.
- Resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain the highest customer satisfaction possible.
- Identify additional work opportunities that could be mutually beneficial.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of management experience and janitorial industry experience required. Preference given to candidates with janitorial experience in an industrial setting. Must be able to multitask and adapt to changing environments. Must have a customer service mindset and be able to communicate in a professional manner. Must have experience training others. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google products is required.
