Job Description
JOB FUNCTION:
To repair mechanical failures and perform periodic preventive maintenance on production installations and equipment, making new or adjusting equipment in the mechanical area, such that production stagnation is limited to a minimum and unsafe conditions will be avoided.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Repair of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Supporting in new construction, expansion, and revision work
• Documenting of maintenance information for the shift reporting
• Ordering materials
• Guiding new employees and mechanics of third parties
• Observation of operating, environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Consulting with production team
KNOWLEDGE:
• Pneumatics
• Welding
• Conveyor experience
• Lubrication systems
• Control systems
• Electrical
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Stand, walk, sit, handle, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and/move up to 50lbs.
• Drug Free Work Environment
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
• 12-hour shift, 4 on 4 off
Experience:
• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
