This Exciting Opportunity will sit in Quincy, FL supporting our Adsorbents and Additives Business Unit.. You will have an opportunity to work with one the most experienced maintenance teams in our industry. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment in an industrial plant.
Responsibilities
- Practice safe work habits in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
- Dismantle, repair and reassemble complex equipment
- Diagnose trouble, plan and perform all mechanical operations necessary
- Mechanical Equipment includes: hammer mills, bucket elevators, conveyor belts and other mechanical work of a varied nature with minimum supervision.
- Perform fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting and pipefitting
- Complete routine paperwork as required
- Work from drawings, verbal instructions or sketches
- Develop and interpret mechanical requirements and figure necessary dimensions
- Assure satisfactory performance after repairs and adjustments
- Work from ladders, in elevated places or in pits when required
- Responsible for highest level of ESHA awareness for self and team & adherence to policies/guidelines/laws
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an Associates Degree from a technical institution with 2+ years experience
- A minimum of 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Must be able to operate machinery such as a forklift
- Requires lifting up to 50 pounds and able to work in high or elevated areas
- Furnish and maintain hand tools per the required tool list
- Ability to identify and integrate the critical elements of a situation; to specify alternative courses of action
- Available to accept all call-ins and work a rotating shift when necessary
- Must be able to work overtime when needed
- Will be required to use/wear proper safety equipment
- Must be able to be medically cleared to wear a respirator
