The position of Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/resolving equipment issues, and participating in improvement projects. This person must be action-oriented and responsive to his/her internal customers. The ability to organize and multi-task is essential.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform and record completion of preventative maintenance items
- Manufacture/assemble tooling and fixtures
- Disassemble and rebuild equipment as assigned
- Respond quickly to line issues. Resolve and make recommendations to eliminate reoccurrences.
- Complete work orders as assigned
- Initiate work orders for process improvements or machine reliability
- Able to work outside of scheduled hours to complete tasks/projects.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Associates degree or certificate in Industrial Mechanics preferred or equivalent experience
- Be proficient in the use of Powered Industrial Trucks.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Mechanical aptitude
- Electrical aptitude
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Fabrication and welding experience
Working conditions
80% Indoors, 20% Outdoors
Physical requirements
- This position must stand for 4-6 hours.
- Able to lift 75 pounds occasionally
- Able to work above head and below knees
- Reach, stoop, squat, and work at floor level

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
