Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for an entry to mid-level Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in mechanical maintenance and a working knowledge of industrial machinery and tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all types of industrial machinery and equipment. This position requires problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and the willingness to take on challenging tasks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow applicable safety, quality an environmental programs, policies and procedures

• Install, set up, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary assembly equipment.

• Properly document repairs and work orders.

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

• Daily improvements.

• Ensure all safety policies are followed.

• Other projects/responsibilities assigned.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

• Communicate with VSL or maintenance manager.
• Review preventive maintenance list.
• Press cleaning.
• Meetings to attend shift, plant, huddle and book club.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 80 lbs.
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish).
• Must pass physical, drug screen and participate in E-Verify.
