Job Summary:
- The Industrial Maintenance Technician performs limited preventive maintenance assignments, completes minor repairs, and assists in major repairs.
- Oversees plant maintenance needs within our three plants.
- Supports Plumbing, lighting maintenance with the plants.
- The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing & repairing production/manufacturing equipment during Unplanned & Planned Downtime, this will include preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, adjustments & repairs.
- Demonstrate ability to Inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure maximum operational efficiency. Ability to diagnose and repair minor electrical, carpentry, plumbing and HVAC issues.
- Diagnoses problems. Disassembles units, cleans, lubricates, repairs, and replaces parts.
- Maintains function and reliability of manufacturing and support equipment by performing preventative maintenance.
- Monitors machines regularly for signs of defects & malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises, and conducting testing as appropriate.
- Perform breakdown analysis to understand root cause of component.
- Work with outside contractors on assigned tasks.
- Understand & comply with GMP’s, Food Safety Practices, audit standards as well as Plant Safety Practices
- Follow food safety regulations by sanitizing equipment before and after checkups to avoid cross contamination.
- Use a variety of electronic, power and hand tools to perform job functions.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company / OSHA Standards. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility.
- May perform other duties related duties as necessary to meet the ongoing business needs of the organization.
Education:
- Requires a high school diploma, GED (General Educational Development), or equivalent.
- 2-4 years Maintenance experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment a plus.
- EPA Certification a plus
- PacMac & DoBoy machine experience required.

Job Type: Full Time 40+OT
Shift: First Shift (Able to work some Saturdays when needed)
Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 hourly + OT.
