PROJECT ESTIMATOR
NAK Construction Services is a Machine Maintenance company that, for over 25 years, has serviced rotary kilns,
calciners, coolers, and dryers for customers throughout the United States. The company’s core competencies
are installing, repairing, and maintaining rotary equipment.
Our growing business requires the assistance of an experienced Project Estimator. The ideal candidate would be
experienced in all facets of industrial construction estimating.
Main Duties:
• Estimating the cost of Labor, materials, equipment, and other necessary resources for each project.
You should expect to coordinate with all departments.
• Communicate with NAK Service Advisors and Superintendents to outline clear definitions of work
scopes.
• Maintain accurate records from previous projects to assist with costs for future projects.
• Evaluate bid packages received from potential customers, including, but not limited to, drawings, scope
of work descriptions, and estimate spreadsheets.
• Distribute materials from the bid packages to the appropriate parties within the company for parts,
estimating, crane estimates, etc.
• Maintain and update costing spreadsheets as needed with variable rate changes including labor, travel,
equipment, and various other costs.
• Prepare proposal templates for common industry projects.
• Write comprehensive project proposals to be submitted to customers.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
2. Self-motivated
3. Competent with Excel and MS Projects
4. Five years of technical or field experience is preferred.
5. Proven experience managing successful large-scale projects.
6. Team player
