As an Industrial Engineer, you will support operations across the North America Supply Chain! You will apply your skills and knowledge to work on a team responsible for executing multiple simultaneous engineering projects.
Possible projects include improving productivity and efficiency by providing workplace design and manual procedure development-, small- and large-scale capital projects, support of engineered labor standards including time study, data gathering and analysis, and case development in support of Nike Inc. business strategies and goals.
We will rely on you for developing and maintaining a close relationship with partners in all functional areas within the facility management team. In addition, you will partner to train operations personnel on changes introduced through engineering initiatives. You will be responsible for getting results in cross functional groups, including internal and external resources, across a broad range of projects in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Lastly, in this role you will ensure that projects are supporting an overall program view for transformation of the North America Supply Chain that supports long term Nike Inc goals such as Digital First Supply Chain at Scale
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 0-2 years of industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment and contribute to successful execution of goals
- Ability to interact with data infrastructure to retrieve and analyze data and propose the best course of action for all areas within scope
- Effective communication, as demonstrated by ability to facilitate meetings with cross-functional and virtual teams
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- MS Office-suite, AutoCAD and/or other project management software experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in capital projects, program management, MHE design, process design, innovation, automation, lean methodology, or related activities.
- Simulation software experience
- Experience in Distribution Center or Fulfillment Center environment preferred
- Knowledge of MHE technologies and implications on processes, facility design, and supply chain impact
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments, along with effective project and vendor management skills
