Job Description
In this role you will be overseeing and assisting in the development of shop floor operating schedules, capacity planning, and developing spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics and operations research). Providing summary analysis and metrics for consultation to internal customers at various levels.
You will use your skills to lead the research, design, development, improvement and implementation of processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts. You will also lead the use of engineering methods to support the development of optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, and equipment) in the creation and validation of products.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Schedule work plans, data analysis (historical, trends and production impacts), staffing and process improvements.
Utilize engineering methods to assist in developing optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, and equipment) in the creation and validation of products.

Candidate must be able to interact with employees to gather data for process improvements. This may include observing and documenting processes, and collecting data in manufacturing areas or on aircraft during various production phases.

This position includes the responsibility to manage, define, negotiate, and control the scope, cost, and timing of projects, and perform risk analysis using project management tools (e.g., work break-down structure, precedence network, and resource allocation).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Currently have a 4 year engineering degree from an ABET accredited university
Able to walk, stand, and enter into aircraft via steps or ladders
5+ years industry experience
1+ years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management or related experience
1+ years of experience with MS Office Suite
Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools preferred.
Experience with data analytics
Experience with Python and SQL programming
Ability to understand database programming
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Prior *** Experience
Prior Production environment experience
1+ years experience with Aircraft modifications or aircraft production environments.
Industrial Engineering experience in a factory setting, familiarity with manufacturing operations, manufacturing planning, engineering drawings and specifications, lean concepts (certifications preferred)
Experience working with data sets from a wide variety of sources such as SQL server or Oracle preferred.
