Industrial Electrician

Position IEL: Industrial Electrician

Pay: $30-$40 hr. depending upon experience. Eligible for first wage increase at initial review at 45 days.

**$300-400 MONTHLY ATTENDANCE BONUS (when requirements are met) **

Work Schedule: Full Time: 40-55 hr./week, Monday-Saturday; Part Time: 20-40 hr./week. The Hodge Companies have a flex time policy that allows employees flexibility in meeting weekly hour requirements.

Travel Requirements: No

General Requirements:

1. Dependable, team player

2. OSHA 10 Hour

3. Provide all hand tools required for position.

4. Willing and able to work up to 55 hours per week when needed.

5. Lift up to 50 pounds

6. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

7. Basic computer/tablet knowledge

8. High School Degree or GED

Job Duties:

1. Assemble/wire control panels and associated power distribution circuits on new builds.

2. Proficient electrical troubleshooting in single and three phase equipment and VFD systems

3. Plant maintenance, in particular: overhead cranes, processing equipment, weld equipment, CNC centers, and compression

Educational/Technical Requirements:

1. Electrical trade school or equivalent, emphasis on industrial electrical

2. Minimal 2 years as electrician in industrial environment

3. Proficiency in electrical schematics and one-line diagrams.

4. In depth understanding of applicable NEC requirements

5. Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Word

Beneficial Attributes:

1. Electrical License (also increases payrate)

2. Experience with cranes / tow motors, hand power tools
