Local contractor for major southern California telecommunications company looking to hire for the position of a Call Center Agent/dispatcher.
Looking for a start employee that can excel in this role and grow with our company.
Pay is $16.00 an hour. Our Call Center is open Monday- Saturday. requires Rotating Saturdays for all employees.
Position Summary:
Maintain Drop Technicians’ daily schedules.
Manage heavy call volume from customers, agents and technicians.
Maintain customer database with current information.
Communicate clearly and concisely with various departments, employees and customers.
Update technicians when jobs get assigned or cancelled in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
· Advanced customer service skills.
· Ability to multitask.
· Organizational skills.
· Geographical knowledge of service area and map reading skills
· Computer skills: Excel and Word
· Related experience in customer service, scheduling, and dispatching
· Excellent phone etiquette
· Excellent customer service
· Ability to work unsupervised.
· Ability to adhere to work schedule.
Daily Duties:
· Take incoming calls from customers and agents.
· Take calls from technicians for assistance with job related questions.
· Respond to emails.
· Schedule and coordinate work orders.
· Transfer service ticket information to our internal database.
· Cross reference all service ticket information
· Dispatch Service Technicians accordingly.
· Maintain the schedule.
· Follow up on all pending and partially completed jobs.
· Check status of jobs on a regular basis to ensure updated information is relayed accurately.
Experience:
- Scheduler / dispatcher: 1 year (Preferred)
- Prior experience with Frontier, Spectrum, Directv employment highly encouraged to apply.
Language:
- English and Spanish is a plus
