About the Position:
Our client, a Chicago-based private market investment firm that focuses on multi-asset class investing, is actively seeking a senior-level attorney to join its rapidly-growing office. The person in this position will have the opportunity to wear many hats and work closely with top executives. Primary responsibility includes reviewing and negotiating loan and security documents. Will also have the opportunity to work on M&A and equity deals. Candidates must have five or more years of experience with debt finance and lending, including negotiating credit agreements and loan documents. Fund formation experience and knowledge of real estate finance transactions would be helpful, but is not required. Exceptional opportunity for a finance lawyer to join a collaborative, high energy team at an entrepreneurial Chicago company!
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a finance attorney at a law firm or bank/asset management firm
• Debt finance experience
• Strong lending experience
• Experience negotiating credit agreements and loan documents
• Fund formation experience is a plus, as is knowledge of real estate finance transactions
