Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Office (Day Care) Custodian. The custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff, and visitors. This role is part-time, requiring about 30 hours per pay period, and is ideal for candidates who are looking for flexible work hours.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:

• Perform cleaning duties in the office and daycare areas, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces 

Trash and Recycling:

• Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed. 

Restocking Supplies:

• Monitor and restock cleaning and sanitation supplies as necessary. Ensure that all restrooms are well-supplied with soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Safety and Maintenance:

• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor. Assist in maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment for staff and visitors.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate cleaning schedules and any special cleaning requests. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Qualifications:

• Prior custodial or cleaning experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• This is a part-time position, requiring about 30 hours per pay period. The custodian may be required to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. The work environment may include exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Starting pay is $12.00/hour
