We are looking for a versatile and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cook/Cleaner/Floater at our in-home daycare. This position requires someone who is able to handle a variety of tasks including meal preparation, cleaning duties, and assisting in different areas of the daycare as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children in accordance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen including dishes, utensils, and food preparation surfaces
- Assist with general cleaning tasks throughout the daycare center, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing common areas
- Assist teachers in supervising and engaging with children during playtime, outdoor activities, and other daily routines
- Maintain a safe and organized environment for children and staff members
- Follow all health and safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of all individuals in the daycare
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions accurately
