Immediately hiring! Join our team for a wonderful family in East Springfield, providing companionship care to a very sweet woman. We are currently hiring Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7am-7pm. Please let us know which shifts you are interested in (or if you would like all three)!

Caring Companions Caregivers make scheduled visits to client homes, where they provide supportive care to each person. Depending on your qualifications, you may be asked to perform a range of tasks including socializing/conversation, walking/exercise assistance, incidental driving, errands/shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation. If you have the necessary experience then you will be eligible to be assigned a client who needs assistance with personal care, such as bathing, dressing & grooming, lifting, transferring, toileting, and incontinence care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals
- Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting
- Eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Give permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing
- Meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Professional and Personal Reference Checks
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
- Take pride in providing high-quality care
