Job Description:

This career step requires expert level experience. Defines Technical Solution and ensures alignment; Provide technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution. Works closely with the Enterprise Architects and System Engineers to ensure that individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives:Facilitates important design decisions for development teams; local authority.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the Lead Network Architect, T4 engineers, and AT&T factories/partners to manage the security architecture for the holistic DOJ environment.
• Provides recommendations, guidance, support and oversight for changes and enhancements to the DOJ network and security environment.
• Serves as primary Tier 4 resource for security related issues including degraded performance and outages.
• Ensures lower tiered resources are educated on new platforms/devices, approved customer enhancements, and lessons learned.   
• Manages the AlgoSec implementation and evaluate replacement options that better align with the DOJ security needs and SD-WAN architecture
• Works closely with DOJ Information Security Engineer to proactively address security audit and compliance issues; assist with vulnerability and patch management.
• Appropriately prioritizes and addresses security deficiencies in the environment.  Escalates awareness within AT&T appropriately.
• Reviews and tunes internal security policies for maximum effectiveness
• Participate in T4 OnCall Rotation
• Work with network architect and engineers to design and develop the security architecture to align with the transformation to SD-WAN
• Works closely with Acuative to achieve and maintain FISMA HIGH threshold, and all other tasks necessary to obtain and retain AT&T’s Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Collaborates with account team and others on business development opportunities and expansion of existing services
• In addition, desirable candidates will have strong leadership, administrative skills, and experience in the following areas; Technical Support, Vendor Negotiation, Operations, Certification, Test & Turnup, Product Management, and Executive Escalations.

Job Contribution:

• Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.

Education:

• Preferred Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Requires 8-10 years of experience.
• Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.

Supervisory:

• No.

Our Principal Solution Architecture, earn between $158,200 - $237,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
