About the Job:
Immigration office seeking a candidate for a full-time attorney position. A dedicated interest in immigration law is a requirement. Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
Candidate will have their individual caseload. Must be able to manage workload of active cases, prioritize, manage simultaneous tasks, and meet deadlines within a changing fast-paced environment. Candidate principal duties will include strong legal research and writing in criminal and immigration courts. Specifically, will prepare motions to vacate in criminal court, draft briefs and motion for immigration court and assist in drafting waivers for USCIS.
Must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work independently. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills; superior organizational skills; and strong interpersonal skills are a must. Must have a commitment to excellence and working as a team member and maintaining harmonious working relationships. Must have a commitment to providing passionate representation for the immigrant community.
